That totally freaked me out!! As you know, when I’m around you i feel the closest to Anne. She was absolutely terrified the first time she performed. And that is th song she played. I had no idea you sang & played. I am certain you sound an awful lot like her. It’s in your ‘genetic code’ sweety. You can’t ignore it. Embrace it. I am so proud of you. drop me a line so I can send a ‘care-package’ for Christmas, okay?? I love you sweety. And You are becoming one amazing woman!!!
love,
eileen

You are an incredible artist! I sent the picture to Wil, sorry we haven’t had internet yet and I know it’s late but I still think it’d be a nice thing to add.

You get it and that’s great. You’ve decided to stop trying to fit yourself into where and what you think you should be and to go ahead and just be who and where you are. If I’d done that at your age, I’d probably have lived a much happier life. Keep that attitude. See you soon 🙂

Which just proves that you are an artist, in many ways. You were able to bring out emotions in people through your words. I am so glad that this trip is bringing wonderful things for you and cannot wait to read the next blog!

I cried when I read your dad’s comment and hope that I am not doing anything to spread fear to my own children, or make them think they are anything less than wonderful.

I hope that you keep playing and drawing and writing! I’m looking forward to listening to you play and sing when you get back.

I am far too cynical at times, and I fear I’ve let that spread to you. I didn’t mean to. Just know that you’ve already far surpassed anything I ever expected from you, and that’s saying a lot because my expectations for you have always been quite high.

And yes, embrace that artist. Feed her. She will always be a comfort to you in troubled times. She’ll help you rejoice, and she’ll help you mourn, and she’ll even relieve the boredom when times are less interesting. I think you’ll even find she offers practical help when you need creative solutions to real life problems.

I love you and miss you, and always look forward to hearing from you.
