Spring is almost here!

As I walk around my garden I observe delicate, blooming snow drops, hyacinth, daffodils and forsythia starting to emerge. Birds are chirping, splashing in the bird bath.

The green buds of perennials reaching for the sunlight in our rock garden are accompanied by two seventeen inch snakes sunning on a rock. I’ll try to remember to be careful while weeding in that corner!
This is my favorite time of the year, when the earth renews itself with green beauty. I find it so energizing.

Your corner of the world sounds so vastly different, yet it has its own beauty and colors and culture which we are so anxious to hear about when you return soon. For sure it will be difficult to leave your new family and friends in Senegal.
You have been blessed these past months to live this experience and it most assuredly will affect how you continue your life’s journey. We are so very proud of you and we will be watching and supporting where your journey will take you. See you soon.

Love you Katie, Aunt Dorothy
