What a treat to read another blog this morning. I have left the kitchen area where I responded to your last blog, done two loads of laundry, and finished the last pages of Barbara Kingsolver’s Unsheltered (which I started a week ago. ) I loved reading your feelings about leaving one home for another. And I remember that the decision to leave home was not an easy one. As I think about your experience, I am struck by what stepping beyond one’s comfort zone can mean. It can mean that only by taking that step does one find the gifts that one has. If that is self discovery, so much the better!

While I do not know Spanish, I think that the last sentence in your blog means that soon I will know more of your host family. I thank them in advance for the love they have given to my grand daughter, Abby.

With love, Mamore
