I loved this. You articulate so well the community that is built in Global Citizen Year. This past summer, a month or two after we all returned home, we planned a get together in New York. Fellows came from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina Ohio and Indianapolis. Most of us could only stay one night. I hope that’s a good example of how important this was to us. Again, great piece of writing.

Boa sorte no Brasil amiga,

Mike

So I relate to your post and feel it more deeply than I would have been able to a few weeks ago. I can picture you standing there, expressing your articulate thoughts to all of us, and hear your voice as I read this. Thank you for sharing the glimpse into the wee hours of August 31st!
