I am so proud of you and the new adventures you are having everyday! What God is doing for you there and using you for there is a thought in itself. I can just imagine you teaching your familia spanish in the evenings, as well as learning spanish from the best kind of professors. Love you Joan and miss you girl! Keep adventuring

Enjoy it! — here’s a different perspective from a fellow recently returned: I know right now it seems like a world away, but consider your “first” day back, and every “first” day back in the US after that. It’s funny how the exotic (Ecuador for you) becomes the normal, and then when you come back to the states, what used to be normal will be exotic. 🙂
In the meantime though, ENJOY IT ALL – you’ll miss it.

To see the world through another’s eyes (and lives) is a gift. That you find beauty in what others may see as “poor” shows the beauty and intelligence in you. Keep the updates and photos coming!
